What I'm seeing is the quick properties dialog box, not the layer palette, or the full property palette

Select an object and type in PR for properties, or just type in LA for layers.

The quick properties palette can be customized as to the content that is visible

I'm still not understanding what your issue is.  you've posted 3 screenshots of the layer palette and one of the quick properties palette, they all look normal to me.  VPN connection has nothing to do with how things look, VPN only allows access  to licenses or files on a network.  your system controls how things look.  are you on a different system when on the VPN?

Without having your drawing, all I can guess is the linetypes of the problematic geometries are not set to "bylayer".

And the linetypes used may have features that are missing on your drawing (e.g. fonts, blocks, etc.)

Hope this helps.

Hi,
Exacly, everything looks okay.. but when i am working from home ... fonts, text and lines are bigger  ( if text is in the box than when i am working from home text is bigger and its out of box). Have a feeling like screen resolution is bigger.... and I cant figure out where is the issue?!

Hi,

Then please create screenshots from your home station so we can see the difference.

HI @Anonymous,

Try disabling Hardware Acceleration in GRAPHICSCONFIG when you are using the VPN. I believe this should correct the display issue you are experiencing.

Can you tell me what VPN client you are using?

Hi,

Hopefully you've been able to fix this now, but I thought I'd add (just in case) that when I've had text appear differently when using a different PC, it was because i didn't have the actual font file installed on said different PC. E.g. my company font style used 'font a' so I found the actual font file for 'font a' in windows, then installed that font on my other PC. Solved it for me. Not too sure on the other stuff though sorry!

@Anonymous Your description leads me to believe that you have a high res monitor at home, and not either installed updates to allow for AutoCAD to be compatible, or if you are on a version that doesnt have a patch (2017.1.1 and higher) you would need to turn off display scaling in your windows settings (DPI)
