LIST lists coordinates in UCS. OK. But, Data Extraction lists coordinates in WCS. Why? Every user needs calulations with coordinates in UCS not WCS. Pls Help. English answer pls.

Hi,

>> Data Extraction lists coordinates in WCS. Why?

Because world coordinates is a constant base, a known base and so everyone knows the coordinates your extracted data is valid for.

>> Every user needs calulations with coordinates in UCS not WCS

I can only speak for myself (and a lot of people I'm working with), we only need geodatic coordinates and so based on WCS, we would hate it if we had a UCS activated and get then the coords in some temporary UCS ... and if so we would need to know with which UCS we had created each extraction data file.

May I ask when you need UCS coords?

2. Your "cyan dashed lines" are a hatch pattern with a base point far below them

Hi,

if you don't mind .... i would like to draw your attention that your beautiful drawing have no new layers !!!! you're just work with colors and this is too bad. believe me (please) put your dwg elements on layers and start arrange them.
