AutoCAD Cycle between blocks/symbols

At my company like most we can type in a command that will bring up a Symbol Library, on a few devices that we have, we can cycle between a few blocks/symbols. For example after we place a duplex, we can selete it and type in a command and that duplex changed to a fourplex and so on. I have attached a picture if that helps. the symbols with a green circle is the ones that cycle.

is there a question? Which exact variant of AutoCAD are you using, I don't recognize your screenshot.

There is nothing in AutoCAD to do that OOTB: are you creating that screenshot popup from an AutoCAD slide library file or a bunch of AutoCAD slides in a folder?

the list is pulled from a DFS file that is located in the same folder as the symbols are also in that folder we have a sub folder named Slides with AutoCAD Slides in it. I have attached images of the files in the follder.

AutoCAD 'slides' development stopped quite some time back: I suspect with a lot more programming at the back end you might be able to do what you seek but you need to post in the correct forum for Customization, start here http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/visual-lisp-autolisp-and-general/bd-p/130
