AutoCAD copy/paste not working

Hello can any one help me please?

I am trying to copy some objects and drawings from file B to file A, but it didn't work.

I tried everything but nothing worked for me. 

Please help.

It looks like that there is some issues with file A but I couldn't figure it out

it works fine with me ... i can copy and paste from B to A.
Would you make a short video and attache it here to see what happen with you?

hi,

you have some block reference that you will not be copied, you need to insert them ( xfer command)

Thank you for your reply.

I used XFER command and brought the entire drawing to the target, then I converted it as a block then exploded it. 

At least it is working for now, but why can't I just copy then paste?

You need to understand that xrefs (external reference) are links, not ojects, and you cant copy them like block, objects etc. Indeed the are treated as block, but is a special kind of block reference.

You have 3 options for transfer to other dwg. 1 burst/xplode, 2 atach manually in new dwg by xref, 3 Bind/Insert the xref in the source  first( become port of the dwg, so it can be copied)
