AutoCad and WebDAV

Hi, I'd like to know if AutoCad (and which version) supports openin/saving files via WebDAV?

I'd like to have some king of a cloud storage mapped on my Windows machine as a local drive eg. Z: from which I'd open and to which I'd save my .dwg files. I made a short test using AutoCad 2018 trial and a test webDAV server: https://www.webdavserver.com and everything seems to work. However I want to know if it's just an accident or webDav is really suppoerted by AutoCad (2012, 2016, 2018)?

Thanks in advance,

Przemek

Same concept as Dropbox, BOX and OneDrive (and dozens others) with "local sync drives" which have been around and used forever.

It will fail if multiple users start accessing the same file to work on (no prompts for files in use), but if you are a lone user it should be fine for the most part.

Thank you. I am not sure if webDAV and Drobpox is the same because if you save file into Dropbox, you save a file straight to a folder on your hardrive but if you save a file to webDAV, you save it into a virtual path (you don't have a folder on your harddrive).

Hi,

If the file would not be cached locally then every single drop-out of your Internet-connection might crash the application?
