AutoCAD - All objects disappear when i zoom extents

Hi,

I seem to have lost all my drawing on the zoom. I can see all the layers are still there & the construction lines but I can't see any of my work. I tried closing & reopening & zoom extents but that didn't work. Can anybody help please?

Did everything disappear while you were working in the drawing or when you opened it?  If it was when you opened it try closing it and running the recover command and select the drawing.  Or try the audit command when in the drawing.

It dissapeared while I was working on the drawing somehow. So should I try the audit command?

You could try audit. Did you do much work on it?  You could try the undo command to try and back up to when it happened.

audit didn't work unfortunately. I save regularly but I've already closed & reopened?

If you zoom extents you will see a block way down below the ucs icon. If you select it and on the properties palette change the scale x to 1 from the large number it is and then zoom extents again you should see the drawing again. See attached drawing.
