AutoCAD - 3D Solid and Surface Help

I am working on a project for a visitor center where they want a 3D curved graphic. The client sent me the flat shape they sent to the printers. I am going to have that same flat shape cut out of bending plywood on the CNC then bend it to the table. I want to model this graphic and table in AutoCAD. I figure this will have to be worked in as a surface but how do I keep the constraint of the size of the plywood as it doesn't really stretch? I attached the designers concept below.

If I understand your question you are trying to do the reverse of something like this.

Generally this is not something done in AutoCAD. Geometric constraints only work in 2D (for the most part). You would need a plugin or a lisp etc. Something like Fusion 360 or inventor may be a better application for something like that. I'm not familiar enough with those application though to tell you if or how it would be done.

If its just for visualization purposes, you can fudge it in, but if you are trying to do it accurately it could be a bit of a task. I would contact who ever provided the design show in the image you provided and see if you can get the model from them and then import it into AutoCAD.

Once you have the model you can use the material editor to add the image to the model.
