AutoCAD 2023 - Object Snap Override Menu not appearing

Recently install AutoCAD 2023. I've been using AutoCAD 2017, and never had an issue with when I try to find midpoint between two point using Ctrl + Right Click shortcut. The Snap override menu is not showing up with that shortcut. Now its not working the 2023 version. I tries to follow the help solution where it says its Shift + Right click. But its not working either. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong here.

Your right click settings can be adjusted in the options.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

perhaps those settings did not get migrated over?

try going to OPTIONS>User Preferences & select Right-click Customization then match these settings to see if Shift + Right click works:

@paullimapa @RobDraw  I did check the options and it seems I have the same settings. Although I did find out that I don't have to hold shift or ctrl key, but just to press the right click for getting the Osnap overrides menu. It is a bit difficult than the other shortcut. But I guess I'll get used to it.

Hi @anjuharismitha

In AutoCAD 2023, the "Snap Override" menu can be accessed using the Shift + Right Click shortcut, as you mentioned. If this shortcut is not working for you, there are a few things you can try:

  1. Make sure that the "Snap Override" menu is enabled in your AutoCAD settings. You can check this by going to the "Snap Settings" dialog box (type "SNAP" in the command line) and ensuring that the "Snap Override" option is checked.

  2. Make sure that you are using the correct shortcut. In some versions of AutoCAD, the Snap Override menu can be accessed using the Ctrl + Right Click shortcut, as you mentioned. However, in AutoCAD 2023, the correct shortcut is Shift + Right Click.

  3. Check your keyboard settings. If you have modified the default keyboard shortcuts in AutoCAD, it is possible that the Snap Override shortcut has been changed or disabled. You can reset the keyboard shortcuts to their default settings by going to the "Customize" tab of the ribbon and clicking the "Keyboard Shortcuts" button.

  4. If none of these suggestions solve the problem, it may be worth checking for any updates or hotfixes for AutoCAD 2023 that could address the issue. You can check for updates by going to the "Help" tab of the ribbon and clicking the "Check for Updates" button.

Please click on Accept Solution so other community members can see how to solve the issue.

I didn't see that one mentioned. You must have been having some other very serious problems, too.
