AutoCAD 2023 - Cursor disappears when selecting objects

Hello,

I exported a drawing I did on my previous laptop (which was really slow).

So I bought a new laptop with a better GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060.

But when I work on this project, for example when I select an object with my mouse, my cursor disappears and doesn't come back.

I don't understand why, can you please help me with that?

See if problem disappears when you disable hardware acceleration

No unfortunately I tried almost every solution here:  https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Mouse-...

And nothing worked..

so this problem only happens on this project and not with any other drawings you work on?

Yes as I told earlier I did every step mentionned in the following link : https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Mouse-...
And updating the drivers is one of them.

I have the latest version : 528.49 (2023.02.08)

Thanks

Have you installed the 2023.1.2 Update yet? ABOUT command will confirm what you have installed. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates
Restart your PC afterwards.

If that did not help... Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD/LT.

If still no relief then start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D Display Settings pulldown from "advanced mode" to one of the other choices.

If all else fails, then turn off Hardware Acceleration as a last resort, and start a support ticket through your subscription portal as explained here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/users-software/support-options#:~...

Hello @vigitha2001

Try moving the mouse cursor over the Viewport Controls in the upper-left corner of the drawing window. Does the cursor reappear now?

If this doesn't work then the only option would be to reset the AutoCAD to default. Hope that helps 🙂
