Autocad 2022 keeps crushing

Hi,

I have approached the Acad support with this and wonder does anyone else experience same issues.

While using various commands in cad, I noticed the Acad2022 is significantly slower. It is tempted to crush quite often as well. Especially when I use command DDEDIT within the dynamic block.

This is not file related issue and other dwg file were tested and problem persists. After few suggestions form the support it turns out start program as an administrator solving the issue. However after the IT has change all as per Autodesk suggestion (What user permissions does AutoCAD require? | AutoCAD | Autodesk Knowledge Network), I still experience same issue as a non-admin user.

Do you guys have any suggestion of how this maybe solved?

Have you installed the 2022.1 Update yet? ABOUT command will confirm it. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates

If that did not help... Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD/LT2022: reverting to DirectX11 fixes similar problems for most users.

Also consider turning off LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING variables: if still no relief then start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D Display Settings pulldown from "advanced mode" to one of the other choices.

If all else fails, then turn off Hardware Acceleration as a last resort.

Hi!

after long conversation with helpdesk they asked me to reset Acad2022 to default and this solved the issue. After settings backup from 2019 or 2022 problem occur again. This is related to the user settings. Opening as an administrator does not create any issue. However despite setting all things as per Autodesk suggestions, I do experience the issue as a user again.

Solved the problem by reset Acad2022 to default again. Set up manually all customization and it works. Looking forward any updates they will provide to be able to backup and restore my settings with no issues like that.

Hope my story may be helpful to someone.

Regards.
