AutoCAD 2022 - Difficulty in using Quick Cal for angle.

Initial condition: Dynamic input ON.

Version Autocad 2022.

I want to draw a line C from the starting point of another line D.  Line C with length 500 units at an angle "x" from line D.

x is the angle between two lines let us say line A and line B.

With dynamic input ON.  I start with line command with initial point of line D.  Length (magnitude) I specify as 500 hit tab then my cursor is in angle field.  Now I type 'qc command in the angle field and autocad gives me error.

When I don't specify length and hit tab then my cursor goes to angle field.  Now I type 'qc command then quick calculator opens but after some calculation when i hit apply then autocad is taking that result as length not as an angle.

What is the method to use quickcalc for angle?

the 'qc command seems like it will only output to the command line. If that is the case, it will not populate the dynamic input box.

In your example of the the 'qc command allowing you to enter the angle if you tab over to the angle first, you need to look at what is happening on the command line. When you tab over, the command line is still looking for the first input and so it is allowing you to use the quick calc for the first part. 

You can have the calculator running in a palette if you are needing the calculator. I know this isn't necessarily what you are looking for but you have to follow the need of the command line while using QC from the looks of things.

Yes.  I had observed command line and it was still looking for the first input.
