AutoCAD 2021: How to get an existing arc drawn with polyline (arc option) tool?
I wanted to draw a polyline boundary for the outline lines of the sketch below with “polyline” tool. As the arc is part of the drawing, I wanted to take the advantage of the “arc” option to get the arc drawn. How this can be performed?

as much as i understand that you want to trace over an existing elements .. click on below image to see how it's work and forgive me if i misunderstand your issue .
and if do you want to start from arc to draw a polyline you will find that the arc will draw from the other side . you can take your right direction if you click Ctrl key . click on below image

Try using the "Second point" option in "arc" to draw that 🙂

Then I need to apply Arc, Second, having Ortho on, click on the existing arc, then clicking at the end, then Line to leave arc drawing.
click on below image to see how after active Arc option ( F8 = ON ) you can select Second pt then select the mid of arc the the last arc end point . don't miss to have a proper osnap mode.
