AutoCAD 2020 scale issues when importing solidworks files

With AutoCAD 2020, imported solidworks objects are SERIOUSLY reduced in scale.  For example, a 3" screw imports to being 5/64" long.

As far as I can tell, there is no setting that either changed to cause this, or that I can change to correct this.

Obviously, i can scale blocks once they are imported, but I never had to do that before, and it is certainly inconvenient.  Any ideas?

I verified the INUNITDEFSOURCE and it does not fix the problem - it appears to be a bug. I just got done going round and round with another bug. I was hoping not to start another battle. I think I will start updating service packs at the end of the release year from now on.

I can't read where you verified this, so let me ask you with clear words for a simple answer with Yes or No:

You like to say the result is the same, no matter  INSUNITSDEFSOURCE is set to 6 or 1 ?

In this thread we had a sample files and there it works as i said.

If it doesn't work with your file, please share a sldprt file for testen, thx.

You can read it in my response to you. Your statement originally was to verify that the setting was set to "1". And no thank you. I have read your suggestions and none work. If someone else has found a resolution with this, please chime in.

As stated above, the simplest solution I have found is to 1) import the object, 2) delete the imported, improperly sized block, and then 3) re-insert the block from the block menu. For me, this imports it to the proper scale and size.

This doesn't "fix' the problem, but, at least for me, it is a simple, easy, quick, and effective work-around.

Ok guys, I just figure out the scale of imported solidwork object.

The measurement AutoCAD used for import SolidWorks is meter. That means, if you want to show MM, you need to scale your dimension 1000. If you using inches, scale to 39.37 (1000/25.4).

I think you are really on to something here and initially thought you had found a legitimate fix before I tested but...

Since imported parts from other software platforms like Solidworks import as a block, Autocad needs to fix this:

Doing the manual property scaled conversion seems to be the bandaid for now...
