AutoCAD 2020 LT mapped network

Hi All,

I currently have a problem where AutoCAD does not seem to want to recognize any mapped network drives as a support file search path. We have set the support search paths for the plot styles table to the L:Drive and when we type stylesmanager the explorer window opens in the right location. However we are getting missing CTB files (amongst other issues) as it cannot seem to see the ctb file in the L:Drive path.

Currently installed AutoCAD 2020 LT on Windows 10.

Not having any issues here: is this lone mapped drive on your PC or a server or is it a cloud-server with a local drive letter?

How and where did you map the locations of your preferred CTB files?
In LT2020, if you start STYLESMANAGER command, the folder that opens is the location your current session of LT2020 is looking for plot style tables, if it the correct folder/location, then we would suspect how and where you mapped that drive to be the first item to check.

This is a dropbox folder which is mapped to a network drive, it is utilised by a number of users whom do not have a problem, seems to just be this one new computer we setup yesterday.

Yes StylesManager opens in the correct location. It simply does not want to recognise the ctb file within the folder. We assigned the paths to the support file search path and the plot style table search path.

The Dropbox folder was mapped to the L:Drive by first sharing the folder we wanted by right clicking->Properties->Sharing->Share, then making sure that permissions are all set accordingly. Finally, we would then go to the map network drive feature of windows and assign it a letter.

Hope thats what you are after

If you create a new CTB file by this user, can they still see and use it? and can everyone else?

This AKN has a list of things to also try https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Error-...
