AutoCAD 2020 - Layer names are missing from the layer property tab

Good afternoon, I've got a series of drawings and dxf files that are showing no layer definitions in the Layer Properties tab.  The geometry is there and shows the correct layer name in the properties tab to the left.

Looking for advice as to how to retrieve the layer properties info.

So this all worked before today in your autocad2020 software? If yes, then restart your PC and try again.

If this is a problem in ALL files after the restart of the PC, including your own files from last week, then you probably need to reinstall AutoCAD2020 then ensure it is fully updated to 2020.1.5 level https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2020/ENU/AutoC...

have you tried to run AUDIT on the problem files?

Assuming I did it right, no issues were found.

It is only on certain files dating back to 2017. Also looks like they had some geometric constraints applied.
Rebooting did not solve the issue.

@jtruscott1971 I suspect you'll have to share one of more of these unique files then for others to dissect the issue.

Have you tried opening the file using RECOVER command?
