Autocad 2019 right click not working

I upgraded Autocad 2019 from 2014 a month ago and notice that the rick click button does not always work.

In the Options - user preference  tab the Shortcut menus in drawing area is UNCHECKED, to make the right-click button act as the enter key only.

I Copy an object, select a base point, type-in a value, like 33, and right-click the command line does not respond.  I have to check and right-click again.

This also happens when i enter a lisp command name and right-click and nothing happens.

I did find that moving the command line from a floating position to docked position at the bottom of the screen appears to work.  (Setting the InputsearchDelay to 100, 300 or 1200 has not affect).

Is anyone else experiencing this too?

Hi,

In the Right-Click Customization dialog box, select Turn on Time-Sensitive Right-Click, set default is 250 milliseconds.

Thanks

Hello Jayhar,

I normally have the time sensitive right-click turned off because I only want the right-mouse-click = keyboard-enter button only.   I prefer to use the Shift-Right-Click to display the Osnap sub-menu.

I quickly type with the left hand and right-click with the right hand.  I guessing .1 to .25 seconds between buttons and clicks.

When i get back to my station I will try.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Scott

Hello Jayhar,

Things are working great!

I changed preferences to to Right-click with time delay with Repeat last command and increased the time-delay to 450 milliseconds (was 250) because it would not always work.

I also set the inputsearchdelay to 1200 ms.

Thanks for the tip.

In my case I solved this problem by typing in command line 'Options' - 'Profiles' and selected the Autocad version I am using - 'set current' and 'apply'. right click button works!
