AutoCAD 2019: Materials not appearing correctly in VIEWBASE drawing views

I'm having trouble getting the more complicated materials to appear correctly in a Shaded VIEWBASE drawing view.  Currently, self illuminating materials are not self illuminating.  And - much more importantly - the stock metal material named "Bronze - Polish Brushed" does not appear correctly at all.  In fact, if you look at my attachment, the Bronze Polish Brushed material appears as a whole bunch of those sample spheres that are used in the Materials Editor.

To be clear:  Bronze Polish Brushed material is applied to the narrow band running along the bottom of the cylinder.  The material shown in the editor is a perforated metal version of that material, and it is applied to the main side walls of the cylinder.

(The other cylinder below is White Linen, and that may or may not be right - I don't know.  Right now I just need the two items above fixed.)

Any suggestions about why materials may not be appearing correctly?  Thanks...

I tried everything.  Interesting AutoLISP file, but it didn't save the materials in the VIEWBASE drawing views.  I also went through the entire -GRAPHICSCONFIG command.  None of that helped, but I did notice this:

Enter option [Smooth line display/Per-pixel lighting/Advanced material effects/Full shadow display/Uncompressed textures/eXit] <Smooth line display>: u
This feature has been disabled due to hardware limitations.

So the "Uncompressed Textures" feature has been disabled, due to hardware limitations.  Does anyone know what hardware limitations that might be?  You can see this machine's graphics specifications in the attached JPG file.  This computer was purpose-built for rendering capabilities, and while we didn't splurge on a $4000 graphics card, we did go with hardware that AutoDesk recommended for the kind of work we want to do.  And besides - I'm not even trying to do high-level rendering.  I just want the materials to appear as they're supposed to in the VIEWBASE drawing views.  I've had success with that on much older machines using older versions of AutoCAD.  So what is going on now?

I am continuing to play around the NVIDIA graphics settings, but I cannot seem to make the more advanced materials features work.  Satin Brass material looks fine, but Brushed Bronze looks like the attached screen shot.  It's weird - my machine can easily render the Brushed Bronze material in the materials editor, but it can't present it correctly in a VIEWBASE drawing view.

(That's just one example.  As I mentioned, other materials features, like self-illumination, are not working either.)

Am I the only one who has seen this kind of problem?

Thank you again for any guidance or suggestions...
