I'm unable edit my rectangle global width unless I go and change in the properties every single time. I have tried all the solution found to similar problem as mine. I kept FILL command off, done REGEN, but nothing worked and appears same when IWhatsApp Image 2022-11-12 at 12.32.21.jpg add a new rectangle.

found the problem...once I loaded in safemode as recommended by @cadffm the RECTANG command worked.

then I realized in 2020, 2021 & 2022 I have been loading this customized app I did way back when which I did not load with 2023 and that somehow interfered with the RECTANG command even when I used a period in front...another mystery resolved...

So are you saying that even as far back as 2018 the Rectang command had the additional option to control width?

1. This was a typo, The titel changed to ACAD2019 (as you can see)

2. For sure, also in 2018 is that option available!

Also in 2013.. and in ACAD2000 and in R14, should we search for other versions to ir is it enough?

3. " customized app"

We like to know WHICH app it is (link ?)

it’s a custom app made up of lisp code and menu dropdown and icon dialog interface way back in r12 and I’ve been using in-house since then. There’s something in there that’s stopping AutoCADs native Rectang from loading. I’ll have to further investigate on my own to resolve. Thanks for your assistance
