AutoCAD 2019.1.2 P.162.0.0 closing if double click to the [ A] Menu top left

Hi,

I installed two times AutoCAD 2019 via the network deployment I created for the labs.

AutoCAD start no problem but if by mistake I double click to the [ A ] File menu button, it start closing and ask for saving your drawing. I am running Windows 10 Version 1809 (OS Build 17763.348) and AutoCAD Product Version P.162.0.0 AutoCAD 2019.1.2.

I am not specialist with AutoCAD I just install in the labs for the students.

Thank you

All Windows programs with an icon there close in that manner. All. Try it and see.

Microsoft Support may have an answer to get around that.

What were you hoping a double click would do?  As mentioned, double clicking there has always closed AutoCAD  as well as the others.

Always save a copy of the drawing before trying anything suggested here.

It's done that since the ribbon was introduced. I don't think it's new to that update.

Please read the first answer from pendean #2

This is a normal windows program design..

No bug, no fix.

Correct. I didn't imply that it was a bug; just stating that it wasn't new, related to, or caused by any particular update.
