AutoCAD 2018 - Selection window color

My selection windows have always been transparent blue when selecting left to right and transparent green when selecting right to left. Suddenly yesterday my left to right selection window is now transparent red. What do I need to do to get the original color back?

I'm running AutoCAD 2018, 2D

Use OPTIONS command and on the Selection tab click the Visual Effects Settings and you can change the colors in the window selection color section and the opacity is right below it

Sidenote:

My personnel prefererence is to use darker colours, to increase the transparency of the areas.

I use WINDOWAREACOLOR = 164 and CROSSINGAREACOLOR = 106

This way, the objects behind the area(s) can be seen a little bit better.

Try it out, if you like.

A lot of it depends on if you have a light or dark background. I have a dark background and find that a transparent green color 100 things to work very well for crossing selection and blue color 150 will opacity setting up 25% works very well for me.
