Autocad 2018 and 2019 failed to start

Anonymous
No aplicable

Hi,

Well I have some issues about launching autocad 2019 or autocad 2018, I couldn't find any error number.

When I launch autocad, at the initialisation, I have a message who says :"Hey there is an error, send us the report".

I get this error even when I launch it as admin.

This is my error report number :

CER_181935419

Thank you for helping.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

The report you submitted was from AutoCAD 2019.   It appears first that you do not have all the updates installed.  In addition, the report seems to indicate that you are having a .Net Framework error.  Here is an article that shows how you might be able to repair/reinstall  .Net.

Did this problem just start? Or, are these fresh installs of the applications?

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

Hi,

I have tried to install the newest version of .NET but it says to me that I can't install the 4.7.2 version because I already have it or more.

And this issue appeared from nowhere, one day I was working on a project and the next day I got the issue.

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you tried rolling back any updates that got installed in Windows at that time?

Can you prepare a NFO file for me to examine?

Thank you for replying that fast.

I haven't tried to roll back any updates that got installed in Windows.

But no updates were done between these two days, well I think so.

I can't send the .nfo file.

Hi @Anonymous,

The NFO would tell me your computer configuration, the installed programs, and also show a simplified error log.

If your data needs to be private or confidential, please email it directly to me at john.vellek@autodesk.com and please include a link to this thread in your email.

How far does AutoCAD get in the startup process? Do you see the startup screen? Does it appear to be checking your licensing?

Ok ,

When I launch autocad, I can only see the initialisation and then I get the error message who tells me to contact the technical support.

HI @Anonymous,

I see some applications that might be causing this issue: Malwarebytes, Ccleaner, Avira.  You can try to remove these to see if it helps.

I do see that AutoCAD is failing from the error log with adapplicationframe.dll errors which are definitely .Net related errors. Please try running this tool to cleanup the .Net and then see if you can't uninstall .Net Framework and then reinstall it using the article I provided.

More importantly I see numerous utorrentie.exe errors which I believe are virus related.

And I still have my issue.

Hi @Anonymous,

Are you able to submit a new crash report?  Have you removed the Virus?

The Ccleaner might have damaged some registry keys. It might be worth trying a Repair from your Program Control Panel.

I have removed the virus and I have re-installed autocad 2019 and reboot my computer off course.

I still have the error.

Hi @Anonymous,

This error report continues to show that the error is .NET Framework related.  I suggest a refresh of the machine is likely the best solution at this point.
