Hi there.
I don't know what happen with my laptop. I updated my OS from Windows 8 to 10, after this whenever I open AutoCAD 2017 an error message pops out saying that it is not able to start correctly. How to overcome this? I am hoping someone in this community could provide me with some answers.
Thanks very much in advance for all your help

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Can you give me a bit more detail on what happens when you try to launch AutoCAD?  Does it start going through a license check and then fail? Does it get to the Start screen? Do you get an error codes? Please tell me the exact message you are seeing so I can try to assist you.

Hi @Anonymous,

I have not seen you return to this thread. Does that mean that you have gotten this working?  If not, please let me know some more details so I can try to help.

If you don't have  customization that can be easily reapplied, have you considered a clean uninstall and reinstall of your application?

You could try using the AutoCAD Repair option and see if that works before resorting to uninstalling and reinstalling AutoCAD. More information: how to fix AutoCAD erros.
