Where can I find a complete list of System Variables for AutoCAD 2017.  I'm basically looking for a lookup chart.

Yes.  Good to know, but I'm looking for a complete list with descriptions.  Probably in PDF form.

Only if you want to spend a few days or weeks creating that list (maybe you can sell it and make money) like these folks did that I found with Google Search http://academics.triton.edu/faculty/fheitzman/variable.html and http://www.hyperpics.com/system_variables/downloads/AutoCAD_System_Variables.pdf.

The free easier but not-what-you-desire-100% methods have already been pointed out to you, there is no need to keep asking.

  I know there have been people who have taken the time to research and post pdf listings of system variables in the past, who have been kind and generous, for which I am grateful to have copies of their hard work.  I was simply asking if anyone knew of a more recent version of one.  I am aware of the "free easier but not-what-I desire ones".  Thank you and I am done asking because this is a pain and people are rude.

Maybe, if you had given all the information in your OP, you would have gotten responses that you wouldn't interpret as rude. You didn't mention PDF until your 3rd post on this topic. You didn't mention that you knew of lists for previous versions. You also didn't mention that the lists available in AutoCAD were not what you wanted. You got correct answers for the question. Nothing rude going on here, until your last post.
