Autocad 2017 simply closes when opening dwg file without error message or log.

Hello, I work at an engineering and architecture company called Sudecap in Brazil. The last version of Autocad that we have is 2017. We recently received a batch of HP 400 G9 model computers with Intel I7 processor and we are having a problem with this pc model only. Once opened, when we open a DWG file it simply closes without any error messages or logs. This problem only happens on this computer model. On other older PCs and different models it works normally.  We've already done all kinds of tests with Autocad 2017, but we haven't been able to make it work in any way! And also he is no longer updating the software. Can you help us with this? Thanks.

Is this new batch of computers running on Windows 10 OS or 11 OS?

Make sure you have the latest updates installed on AutoCAD 2017

this could be the problem...2017 may only run on Win 10.

Dear paullimapa.
So, it is no longer possible to update Autocad 2017. And here where I work,
it runs normally on PCs with Windows 11.

Your files may need to be opened with RECOVER command (it does not matter what the old computers still do). Try that.

win11 is not a supported OS, no matter what your wishes may be, that's just a fact. Consider free fixes posted here

2017updates from 3rd party websites still exist on the web, help yourself if your whatever reason your company decided to never store them in the first place
