AutoCAD 2016 Toolbar and other sizes not running right.

Hi Everyone, This is my first time posting to the forum and I hope that my description is understandable.

I just downloaded AutoCAD 2016 on my Microsoft SurfaceBook 256GB 8GB Core i7 Laptop. It starts and runs fine but the open screen and other tools and dropdowns are not sized correctly and are unreadable. The picture I posted will give you a better understanding of what I am trying to convey. I have tried going into the .exe file and turning off the size adaptation but nothing works.

If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated!

I see that PC has resolution of 3000 x 2000 - have you installed at least HotFix1? I think SP1 includes HotFix1, but I'm not 100% sure.

Hi Dean,

Thank you for the fast response. Neither option worked, and I read that article you attached earlier and it did not help!

Please help!

Alex, by chance is this the SurfacePro 4? If yes, you're not the first to complain about the display, looks like Microsoft is trying to fix them through updates if you've not checked. Not sure if it will have any impact on AutoCAD though.

Also read this, seems relevant: https://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us/support/apps-and-windows-store/app-display-issues

Are you running a display setting lower than 2k (HD mode, half the display of your SPro4) as noted in the article I linked to? It's required.

Dean,

I have a new Microsoft Surface Book. I tried that link and seems to be for Windows 8 but the fix does not work.

Best,

Alex
