AutoCAD 2016 - HIDE Bug

Preface: This does not happen in AutoCAD 2015, only in AutoCAD 2016.

Scenario:

1) Open drawing and type in HIDE.  Looks fine.

2) Immediately do a SAVE, SAVEAS, QSAVE...whichever.

3) Then do the HIDE again.  The wide polylines disappear.

To understand the drawing attached, look at it in 3D and you will see that it is constructed with wide polylines above the other objects.

Ok, I understand, a work around to get it to do right is after the SAVE, do a regen -or- enter HIDE twice in a row.  Nonetheless, it is a bother to have to do when it wasn't doing that in 2015.  I suspect the issue is around the change to the displaylist for the feature of "crisp lines and circles", keeping the arcs smooth.

If anyone has a "magic button" that will set this back, please post.

Hi Dennis - I haven't been able to find the magic button for you but I will log this for development to take a look at.

Can you explain why you would be using this workflow? Why not just set the visual style to Hidden if you want the view to stay that way?

Thanks

David

Hide does do something different from the Hidden Visual Style....unless I am missing a setting, but I can't see it right off.  See the attachement with this post.  First type Hide, then regen, and then try the Hidden VS.  You will see the difference.
