Hello
Please help. I am having a problem installing AUTOCAD 2016 on windows 10.
I am a student and need to complete an assignment this is urgent.
FYI, I am not able to download AUTOCAD SP1 as recommendation as this is a patch for already installed software (ithink) I have tried to download and it has failed.
I have received a serial number and licence key but the installation fails prior to being asked to provide this information.
No specific error code is given - the following message is displayed: Error Downloading. Please install Now from the Autodesk Website.
I following steps the following steps.
Go to my Autodesk account

Downloads
I have tried both install & download
Installation Scenario
1. Select 32/64 Install now
2. AutoCAD_2016_englsh_win_32_64bit_wi_en-us_Setup_wcbinstall.exe DOWNLOADS
3. Select Run
4. Autodesk Install Now
5. User Account Control - Do you want to allow this App (autodesk) to make changes to your PC? Select YES
6. Autodesk AUTOCAD Initilisation window in opened
7. Initilisation Starts - bar at bottom displays x or 172 MB downloading this progresses, THEN
8. Error Message is displayed: SetUp Initialisation Fails. Please install Now from the AutoDESK website
Note: A directory is created local but nothing installed - I cannot use uninstall to remove - these folders must be manually deleted.
Download Scenario
1. Select 64 download option
2. AutodeskdownloadManagersetup.exe Starts Downloading
3. Finishes downloading, Select RUN
4. User Account control (see 5 above) Yes
5. Autodesk install Manager starts
6. I get a communication failure from Autodesk Install Now
Note: The download manager can be uninstalled.
