Autocad 2016 dimension text to Home location

I'm in the process of tidying up some drawings that have been prepared by the Architect, using Archicad.

The problem I have is that the dimensions are a complete mess, and I'm really missing the old DIMEDIT functionality, particularly the ability to HOME some or all of the DIM text.

I know that I can HOME the text by hovering over the text and then selecting the HOME option from the pop up, but I'm dealing with a couple of hundred dimensions, so working that way would be tedious, to say the least.

I've been looking round for a little lisp routine with the option for a global update but much to my surprise I can't find anything that will do the job.

So, has anyone got a LISP routine, or found another work around for this "improvement" ... 😉

How is it missing exactly, its still there through R2020 and works quite well, here is 2016's HELP on the topic https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/AutoC...

I'm so sorry about this @pendean, but I'd got it fixed in my mind that this functionality had been removed, and that it was only possible to edit the dim text location one by one.

That said, I was meaning "missing" as in the context where you might miss something you were fond of, rather than not being able to find something because it had been removed.

Anyway, thank you very much for directing me to DIMEDIT, and not making me feel like more of a fool than I'm already feeling ... 🙂
