Autocad 2015 Problem Saving Command

Having trouble with the ‘text edit’ command.

Every now and again I type in TE for the command it says unknown command, After one r two attempts it then recognises the command.

I also use to be able to double click to edit single line text but now I cant and I have to use the TE command. Don’t know why this has been removed

Turn off some of the 'helpful' typing features in 2015 and that should take care of why you cannot type the shortcuts.

I can type in shortcuts, but sometimes to works a few times then doesn't recognize?
Also how do I remove 'helpful' typing features?
