Autocad 2015 installer tries to run when I start Microsoft Word

I recently installed Autocad 2015 Design Ultimate. When I start Microsoft Word I get a peculiar msg "Please wait while Windows configures AutoCAD Electrical 2015" immediately followed by a second msg "AutoCAD Electrical 2015 - Run Setup.exe to install AutoCAD Electrical 2015 - English". I have Administrator rights and the installation supposedly went okay (i.e. no errors displayed). Anybody got any ideas.

You need to use the Microsoft Installer fixit tool to resolve the problem.

Finally did the obvious. Ran the Autodesk installer then selected the repair option. Word 2010 now starts up properly.

The fact that this was fixed by SP2 shows that it was an Autodesk error.

This fix did not work for me. I have quite a few users who are very annoyed. Are there any other fixes?

The fix that worked for me was making the user a local admin temporarily, log back in as user, open a word document, note which autodesk program is trying to start and close that installer window and word document. Open that autodesk program, it will finish its installation with full user rights. Open word again. problem solved. Log back in as admin, remove the user from Local Administrator Group. Solved for us.

Thanks for the fix method, i'll make a try it today as we have the same issue. Just one short comment: you don't need to logon as Admin to remove the user from Local Administrator Group.
