AutoCAD 2015 freezes when creating a view in 3D from base

Often, when I try to create a view in paperspace (Layout --> Base --> From Model Space) after placing the first view AutoCAD freezes up and I have to shut it down using Taks Manager. Doesn't always do it, just when I need it the most. Any thoughts?

Does that depend on the drawing/the model or does the same model sometimes work and sometimes not?

When it freezes, does the Windows task manager show AutoCAD working with >12% or is AutoCAD running close to 0%.

Are your drawings saved on server/network or are these DWG files stored locally (at least try it locally and see if that get's better).

If it's drawing dependend maybe we can reproduce this when you upload a drawing.
