I just installed 2014 SP1 and the program will open, but crash as soon as I select any menu option. This is newly installed in windows 10 x64.

So sorry to report that 2014 ACAD is not supported in Win10.

Maybe some others might be able to provide a little guidance to overcome some issues but just wanted to let you know that much.

Cheers

Here is a list of things to try. I've heard of people using the virtual machine set up that it mentions in this article. That's probably a little slower working than most of the other advice in this article. I'd try the simpler things first before running the virtual machine as that can be a PITA if your computer doesn't have extra resources to spare.

Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately it will not work with the suggestions and going virtual may be too much. I will probably re image with windows 7.

Just an fyi for anyone following the thread. I was experiencing the same issue after I re imaged with windows 7. I finally got it to work once I uninstalled, rebooted, and installed again without the service pack.

Correction: Autocad 2014 is crashing again. It appeared to only work the first launch. All subsequent times I open the program, the program crashes every time I click on any menu item.
