AutoCad 2014 vrs. Windows 10

Does anyone know if AutoCad 2014 will work on Windows 10?

Yes, just keep AutoCAD 2014 updated and you'll be fine.

By-the-way, windows 10 is out today 🙂

Not yet, can't say that I am.

I'd hold my breath that Autodesk "certifies" the 2016 versions of their products but I wouldn't hold my breath for two versions prior to that. If it works...great...

Thanks.  I think I will just stay with Windows 8 and leave good enough alone!

on a non-production pc, like my personal desktop pc at home, I'd venture into the unknown and see if it could work and just run with the results good or bad. From a companies perspective, if they are thinking straight, they would not support this type of setup if Autodesk doesn't support it.

Yes, makes a lot of sense to me. Thanks

If you read this entire post...does that not give you enough information to decide whether or not to upgrade? Careful of following others off cliffs! j/k and Good Luck!

Makes sense.  Look back at the release of Vista.  Not so good.  Thanks

Message 17 of 38

Yes, good news, but I think I am going to wait a little bit longer and see what all  the bugs are across the computer as a whole, and just not AutoCad.  Thanks, good to know that 2014 will be covered someday soon.

careful with the word "will". They appear to be considering that version for testing - and will apparently update either the link I provided or fresh info in another link stating their findings, etc. Eventually what ever will be supported, the system requirement pages will be updated to include what O.S.'s are supported. Moral of the story is don't jump onboard right away - let everything work itself out for
