AutoCad 2014 Help

Besides going back to school and taking a 2 year course on this, Where can I get one on one help with the 20+ questions I have for this new version of AutoCad? I recently updated and have been so used to my old (2006) version, and nothing seems to be working out for me..... Everything is different and I don't have any one to ask. I need hep ASAP before I throw my computer accross the room!

I make simple 2D residential plans, and don't need anything too technical.

This is the place to help you get back up to speed. But AutoCAD 2014 is not new; it's 3-years old now: perhaps it's just new to you?

How is it different from AutoCAD2006? same commands for the most part. Are you just missing the old classic toolbars everywhere look? Then start WORKSPACE command (type it) and select the CLASSIC workspace.

Yes, 2014 in new to me. I learned everything I know in College on 2006 and
I work for myself, so I have not had any continued education on anything
AutoCAD in 10 Years........ Commands are still the same, Thank God. But I
am having big trouble with DC Online and the new AutoDesk Seek?

I just do simple floor plans and I don't know how to insert things like a
toilet or a washer and dryer. Everything on there is in 3D and I just want
2D drawings of appliances and furniture.... You used to be able to find
only 2D things like this and all you had to do was drag and drop into your
drawing......

DCONLINE died and went away after AutoCAD2008-2010 I believe. I doubt anyone around here even remembers it anymore around here.

Here is the official Autodesk post: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/getting-started/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2015/ENU/Aut...

You can use your current library of previous project files to grab the same old blocks you used with ADCENTER command. Then take the time and compile a master file with all of your symbols so you can have this moving forward.
