AutoCAD 2011 Sheet Set Manager defaults fields to previous sheet set

I am new to sheet sets and have followed Sheets Happen! I have set a up a sheet set template DST file. I have set up multipule dwt files and have assigned custom properties to the blocks and using a seperate title block that is being X-ref'd. My issue is when creating a new sheet set from my template for new clients the custom properties retains fields from the template sheet set. Also when I edit the block attributes to update the fields to reflect the correct sheet set the field still does not update. I have to use the enhanced attribute editor to get the field to update. I did follow sheets happen on this part, by making sure I added the fields using the text editor and filling the default text line. I have attached a snapshot showing both sheet sets being referenced.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this? Please let me know if you need more information.

I have also tried deleting and pruging the block inforamation and then reinserting it. This provides another mystery; I still have to update the fields to reflect the correct sheet set. As I'm doing this I can see the fields update with the proper text from the custom properties. Upon exiting the block editor the attributes still show the default information and not the custom properties text.

What is your FIELDEVAL setting?

I have mine set at 31

P.s. If you have custom properties as fields you may as well define this field in mtext, no need to define these in an attribute.

Fields within an attribute can be a pain.

My FIELDEVAL is set at 31 as well.

I will find out if changing the field text to mtext is viable. I believe this information is in the block and used with and extraction program.

These fields need to be attributes for an extraction purpose.

Have you tried the ATTSYNC command?

Yes, When I first added the field to the attributes i used the enhanced editor. After reading sheets happen, I deleted the field with right click method and then added them using the standard text editor. Since the block is separate from the title block, I purged everything and reinserted the updated block. but now for some reason its like the fields are added twice. via the enhanced and standard text editor. Is there another way to completely purge, wipe out any residual block information that my have got left behind without have to start over again from scratch.
