Autocad 2011 and Microsoft updates

This message is repeat , I posted it in the wrong group (AutoCad 2010)  and screwed up the actual version.

Yesterday Microsoft updated my system ( windows 7) and since then when I call  up AutoCad 2011 Student Version I get a message of "There is no disk in the drive, Please insert a disk into dirve /dirvie/hardisk 8/DR8"  which means nothing to me. I have to hit enter around 40 times before it will release and start the program up. Once there everything runs normally as far as I can tell.

Has anyone heard or had problem of this nature after a update from Microsoft?

Did you by chance connect an external drive, or usb thumb drive, or CD/DVD since the last time you used AutoCAD? From your description alone, it would appear you or someone with access to your PC opened an AutoCAD file from a location that is no longer found.

I am the only one that uses AutoCad but I tried it with and without my school thumb drive attached this morning. Yesterday after I received that message from Microsoft that they installed updates and reboot my computer that night is when this problem began. Now the funny part of this is this morning when I started AutoCad everything is working as it was before the update message.

I just don't know what happen or what fixed it? But it seem to be working fine so far, thanks for your input.

I will have to keep on eye on this one and chalk it up to Gremlin's in the system for now.
