AutoCAD 2000 insert image problem !!

I use AutoCAD 2000 as I have years of customization's on it and it serves me well I also use Land Desktop 2002 for my Civil work. I've used them this way for over ten years. I am also on Windows XP. just recently I've been having a problem with the insertion of image files (jpg, tiff bmp.etc.) into AutoCAD 2000, It happens right after using LDT 2002 and going back into 2000. The dialog box won't list any image files and when I list All#.# it list the image files but when I select one it says "Image file unsupported or not valid" It still shows image files in LDT 2002 but not in 2000. when I do a full reinstall AutoCAD 2000 then it works again until I open LDT.then is gone again. It must have something to do with ACAD configuration in the windows but I don't know where to start looking to fix it. and reinstalling 2000 every time I use LDT is crazy.
Help me some one I hope I'm not the only one in the world to have had this happen.
Thanks
Mike

Hi,

>> when I list All#.# it list the image files

I think that you mean *.* NOT #.# !!

You have to know that you're using a very old CAD version !! you're talking about 21 year of a new releases . i mean that you have to expect problems . try to install new versions and update your Windows also .

>> "Image file unsupported or not valid"

Please .. check this link and see if it's help . >> Click <<

Q: why are you not using LDT full time "as autocad" instead of jumping between the two variants all the time?
