Auto Force Model Space Scale Change

Auto Force Model Space Scale Change

I would like to know if there is anyway to force change to the model space scale.

Specifically in AutoCAD 2017/2018.

The reason I ask is, we have a customer who we have good reason not to trust, but unfortunately are obligated to issue them with a 3D model.

I have Shrink-wrapped the Bridge using Inventor BIM exchange, and then converted this version of the model into DWG format, however for that extra special touch I would like to fiddle the scale, so that any measurements taken will be incorrect.

It is for this purpose and only this purpose I wish to know,

I perhaps envision the route of a new model space with a modified scale, and then dumping the 1:1 version in, but I would like some guidance not being a big AutoCAD user.

Please limit comment to solving the issue and not simply asking follow up questions, and refrain for the usual text book comments such as, You're not supposed to, you should always use 1:1 etc etc.

Say this as I've seen similar versions of this question asked and amount to little more than a correct use of AutoCAD guide, I want the Inappropriate use of AutoCAD guide please.

You'd have to manually scale the item.  You cant get the scale to change when someone switches to model space without programming, and even then, iit is not correct form to run a program without a users knowledge on their machine.  Otherwise, how it is drawn is how it is scaled.

You could just arbitrarily scale the entire model up a certain amount like 1.1 with the scale command. You'd need to remember what you did so you could scale it back down  again if you needed. You could also  add a note "NTS" not to scale.  If something had NTS on it I wouldn't try to measure anything off of it anyway. Just adding that note is probably a big deterrent.
