Auto Deselect using Shift

Hello,

I've just encounter a problem, in which never happened before.

Selecting 2 polylines (or 1 closed) and using the shift command (shift and click), the object(s) deselect from itselves, so it's impossible to use "Shift" command. No there wasn't any problem all this time.

And I 've just noticed that in any object can happen. Aec or a simple line.

I am using Architecture 2020

The link is a 7 sec gif of the problem

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance

Harrys

P.S

I was thinking if there is a hidden error, but nothing.

Your GIF is difficult to interpret. If you are still having a problem, make a screencast that captures the key strokes.  See

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/screencast.

It looks like you shift+right clicked though, not shift+click since you brought up a menu.  Shift+click is intended to deselect. CTRL+click is intended to add to selection.

Hello and sorry for delayed answer. I have exams next week.

I made a video with screencast, as requested.

Does this help more with the bug?

Seems an appropriate response to me.  You went from selecting objects to asking AutoCAD to select m2p.  Your middle sequence was correct.  Select objects, choose command, select displacement points.  Objects stay selected.

M2P isn't a command. It is a command option for selecting points.  By selecting M2P, you cancelled the selection because it was an error.  Read the command line when things appear to go wrong.  Don't use the default floating command line unless you switch to the textscreen after the error with F2.

I thought in the past (6.7 years), was working also like that way. Using the m2p first (with shift), to move objects.

Thank you.
