Attributes - Polyline Area Format Factor -Area value precision

Hi everyone, 

I'm struggling terribly. Currently, I'm connecting Attributes ("Room stamps" consist of the Name, Number and Surface) to polylines, to calculate surfaces. Field --> Object--> Area--> Decimal --> Additional Format--> Factor (I have to give 0.0001 for each attribute, and I have them hundreds 😞 ) Is there any way to change Factor for the whole drawing instead of changing each and every time Factor value for each "Room Stamp"?

Moreover, in my Preferences Palette the value Area shows e.g. 19647.5 instead of 1.96. We are drawing in cm but surface we are obliged to give in m². Is this issue connected? I'm trying to find this information already 3h going through different forums with no avail. How to change area value in Preferences Palette and Factor for Field?

You need use a fomula instead of directly using the polyline area.

Please try attached dwg and learn from it.

Thank you @3wood for your answer. Is there any way to not to go through it ''manually'' for every room stamp? Is there a 2 click method instead of 10 clicks? Could you walk me through the process?

And what about area Value in Properties Palette? Am I able to change it to see correct values?
