Attached PDFs in Drawing File Plot Negative with KIP 5000

Hi Everyone,

Here is my latest uphill battle with my KIP 5000.

After realizing the KIP 5000 is no longer being supported for parts or software updates (i.e. can't create PLT files) I am resorting to having to create PDFs. No problem, except that if I attach a PDF file in my AutoCAD drawing, then plot to PDF using one of autodesk's out-of-the-box "AutoCAD to PDF" PC3 files, the attached PDF plots negative.

When I open the PDF that I created with AutoCAD in Adobe viewer, it looks perfectly ok.  If I send the PDF that I created to a regular system printer, it prints ok.  It's only when I send the PDF via the KIP Request software that the PDF attached in the AutoCAD drawing prints negative.

Any ideas? (Other than beating my boss into a pulp until he agrees to get us an OCE Plotwave 500?)

You might want to seek support from KIP while you wait http://kipservice.com/
