Hi.

Im using autocad LT 2015. I have a 2D floor plan with relative heights (magenta). I would like to create a 3D model based on their values. For ex. the highlighted point "136.14" has X,Y coordinates (121.1905;-65.63;0) and I would like to find a way to associate it´s value to coordinate Z (so it would be 121,1905;-65,63;136.14). Is there a quick way to do this or I have to do this manually?

Thanks for your answer.

Hi,

AutoCAD LT has two limitations

  • limited in 3D functionality
  • no programming features

>> Is there a quick way to do this or I have to do this manually?

It's the manual way: You can select each of the points and use either the MOVE command to move it to the correct Z-Value (therefor a menu button might help which starts command _MOVE, wait for an entity to be selected, basepoint = 0,0,0, destination point = .xy 0,0,0 and then wait for a Z-value) or you can use the property window to enter the Z-value. You can also change objects of type LINE and use the property window to change the start-Z and end-Z.
