Arrowheads/Leaders/Dimensions very thick and not visible

I am trying to draw an arrow head coming from the purple leader in the bottom picture and attach a dimension on the side but they are very thick and illegible.

Thick lines and dimensionsThick lines and dimensions

Anyone have any ways in which to fix this? I would like all lines to still be visibly thick (currently set to 0.53mm) but with a visible arrowhead and dimension.

If you are talking about the view on the screen then try toggling LWDISPLAY off.  You can do that from the command line or the icon at the bottom of the screen for LWDISPLAY.

If this is happening when plotting then uncheck the box for Scale lineweights that shows up in the plot dialog box.  This is at the bottom center of the dialog box.

Is there a way to make the lines seem slightly thicker while LWDISPLAY is on?

This is easiest if you post a small portion of a drawing.  There are a lot of settings that could be at play.  But in the mean time go into the dimstyle editor, find the lines tab and see what Lineweight is set to for dim lines and extension lines.  Also check the layer to see what the lineweight is set to,  Finally pick on a single object and look in properties to see what lineweight it is set to.

My styles were crazy large for some reason.

Thank you so much.
