Array Editing

I have an Array (Associative) in Square figure (white line). However, my Array is at a specific angle and some of the elements "come out of" this Square figure.

Therefore, I would like to know, how can I "trim" or "subract" the circular object that are after the while line? And without affecting the other circular object?

Not as far as I know.  But you could mask them off with a WIPEOUT, or use XCLIP on the Array [Help for XCLIP doesn't mention Arrays, but an associative Array is actually of the "INSERT" entity type, which I assume is why XCLIP works on them].

if do you want ( as i understand ) to trim the same arrayed circle , this is can't be done through associative status .

Hello @Anonymous,

When creating an array, the objects making up that array become "locked" which prevents them from being edited. You can get around this if you EXPLODE the objects. Or use the XCLIP command. Select a polyline as a boundary (or create a new one in this command) and then select items to trim.

The EXPLODE is a good option. Is there away to reverse this after? To make cricles again as Associative Array?

You can join the objects to make one collection of polylines. But that isn't really the recommended workflow. You could copy your array and paste it anywhere in your drawing. Then you can explode the array and edit the section that you want to array. Save that as a block (or join all the features into 1 object) and insert it into your main feature. Then array that feature the desired amount. In your case I believe it was 3 polar arrays.

If EXPLODE is a good option, then you don't need them to be an associative Array in the first place.  You can make the Array without Associativity initially, and not need to EXPLODE it afterwards.

But the pieces can't be re-associated.  Some of them won't be Circles any more, anyway, and those that are Arcs won't be the same as each other, so the "nature" of an associative Array can't be brought into the picture.  You can use BLOCK or GROUP to tie them together, but they won't have the associative-Array kind of relationship in which you can edit things like column spacing, etc.
