Anyone know the system variable to turn off annotative scale previews?

Hi everyone, 

when you create annotations with annotative scales, is there a way to keep it from previewing the non-current scales when you pick a text entity, block or dim?

ANNOALLVISIBLE perhaps? it does require an AutoCAD restart for most users.
