Annoying problem with selection area

Hi!
I don't know how but today autocad started acting weird. When i use a selection area (image 1), the initial and ending corners of the rectangle that i clicked create a point or something that "remains" (image 2) until i zoom in or zoom out. The third image shows how it looks when i make a few selection windows in a row. If i zoom in or out, the "points" disappear, but it's pretty annoying for my eye while i'm working. Any suggestions?

Keep an eye on your PC, someone played a trick on you because this feature has been disabled for a few years.
