All drawing tabs at bottom of paperspace has disappeared?

When I have drawn in the past I drew everything, the buildings, in model space and the switched to paper space to put the buildings onto different drawings.

I haven't used AutoCAD for a few months and I've now come back to use AutoCAD 2017 and when I open a dwg it goes straight to a drawing in paper space, with no other tabs?

Where have all my other drawings gone and how do I go back into model space without having to press the button next to the snapping tools, which just takes you into model space through the actual drawing? 

Please help!!

you can get them back from OPTIONS command (see attached image)
