all CADfiles i open appear with lines that were not suppose to be there

What happened? i believe is the program itself cause all files come with these and when i turn off all layers the mistirious lines keep showing...

Turnoff the variables LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING and see if that helps: usage is explained in HELP.

I am so super gratefull to your replies.

Ive innocently acepted to update windows and i think that can be the problem (from the first reply). Ive tried to downgrade the system and this happened, something like "not possible to maintain your files, apps andsetting because your current windows version can be installed in a non supported directory or because you are trying to install an older version of windows" wich is the case but doind the ISO document option didnt go through because of some error...

Im still a student and I dont know exacly what is this linesmooth and linefading... or even what is a variable (commands?) but im going to check that option now... 

some more info, i have this computer, for a bit longer than 2 years (the time for this activation think i dont exacly know what is but i never did)  its an HP, i use the student license...

SUCCESS!!!

indeed the graphic driver was not compatible... i accepted update to windows 11 and thats what i believe went wrong... i managed to install a new graphic driver and everything is back to normal...
