You meant the red line on top of the gray line,it's not ortho so you see it moves when you zoom in really close.

@hussicharmssf,

Could you create a Screencast video that demonstrates the behavior you describe?

Autodesk Screencast

AutoCAD version? Updates? Video card? Graphics driver version? Screen resolution?

Can you reproduce the problem in other drawings? Reproduce problem on other computers?

My first guess would be that it is a behavior of your graphics driver.

We look forward to seeing the Screencast.

Regards,

Jerry

i have put one revcloud at top left of carparking and another one at door..zoom very very in those areas and u can see the lines are not aligned on same line..they seem little bit moved from one other. even if i try to grab the end pointt and align with other end point, again the lines are not aligned...

Hi @hussicharmssf

There is no need to use the command "MOVE" you just need to select the grip and snap to the endpoint. When you use the command "MOVE" you are moving the whole rectangle created on layer "hatch" and when it's moved and snapped to one end its moves away from the other end.

Also, I noticed that the "PLAN" is slightly rotated. Use the command "PLAN" and select "Current UCS" to correct it.

Use "ortho" (F8 key) when drawing lines that are horizontal and vertical and use object snap (F3 key) properly and snap the lines to the correct endpoint so that this issue doesn't arise 🙂

Hi,

This is a drafting issue that can be fixed simply :

  • Move the two car parking away .
  • make sure now that you have a clean space ( Ortho Lines) and dimensions for the space ( Car Parking ) .
  • check now your two car parking lines and dimensions .

In this way you will not see again those shifted lines .

@hussicharmssf  select the object and the type in the command "LIST" to get it.
