Alert not given when a second user opens a file already opened.

The problem is occurring, when user A has a file open. Then user B opens the file. NO alert is given that a file is currently open by another user.

Autocad tech support was not any help. And neither is any support article as the solution given in the article is " needs to be on a supported file structure"

The file structure is managed through server 2008.

Anyone willing to chime in, and at least get me pointed in the right direction.

Thanks,

Does your environment contain NAS/SAN devices?
